What rights do data principals have under DPDP?
Data principals may access information about processing, seek correction and erasure, nominate another person to exercise rights on their behalf, and raise grievances with the Data Fiduciary.
Rights apply subject to lawful exceptions and retention duties. Operationalize SLAs for access and correction requests.
Grievance officers must acknowledge and resolve complaints before escalation to the Data Protection Board.
